Charm School - fantastic album. BA is one of the few indy bands that I devoutly follow, having seen them at least 5 times (big for me). Looks like they may be heading for the mainstream now - with this song recently gracing a Sony camera campaign, and their starring role in Nick and Nora.
Bishop Allen - “ClickClickClickClick”
Bishop Allen is known for their quirky, DIY indie pop music; fun lyrics, catchy hooks, and just an overall good vibe, that’s what I think of when I think of Bishop Allen. This song, with its simple, plucky hook and undeniably catchy chorus, has been bouncing around my head all morning.
Bishop Allen’s latest full-length release, The Broken String, is currently available through Dead Oceans. And although it’s currently out of print, I highly recommend their debut, Charm School, if you can find it.
