Moving in NYC...
Throw a fake tumblr “meetup” with free pizza and beer and when everyone ges to your place tell them the party was actually moved to a new address and on their way there could they just grab a box. the best part is no one would tell you to go to hell, instead they would shlep the boxes and just passive aggresively blog about it later and maybe unfollow you. well except frangry, she may hurt you.Anyone have a suggestion for good movers here in Manhattan? We’re barely moving anything (two bikes, plasma TV, boxes of clothes and books), but our new building requires that we hire a moving company for insurance purposes.
So far I’ve check with Flatrate and Moishe’s. Figure I’ll also try Schleppers and Jews who Move (ok fine. but seriously, what’s with the Hebraic moving theme?)
