When you file with New York State, the first question on the online application is “What is your business type?” Then you have to search their database and chose the one that best fits. So I type “Internet” and click enter. The results:
- Mail Order Sales
- Internet Sales
- Online Retail Sales
- Internet/Online Auction
- Gift Baskets
- Internet/Cyber Cafe
Hm. So I searched for ‘Web’
(No Results)
Maybe New York State is dropping hints … websites don’t have business models?
